The Club invites expressions of interest from members to undertake the role of Team Manager for our Men’s Pennant teams, competing in the Simpson Cup and Bonnar Cup during the 2026 season.
These competitions form part of the South Australian Pennant Series, administered by Golf Australia SA, and represent the pinnacle of amateur interclub golf in the state. The series provides an opportunity for leading players to represent their clubs in a team match play environment.
As Team Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Coordinating player nomination and eligibility in line with competition rules.
- Ensuring teams are appropriately selected, player handicaps and order are managed, and contest days are organised.
- Ensuring compliance with the competition’s format and regulations (e.g., match play rules, reserve players, finals eligibility) as set by Golf Australia SA.
- Fostering a positive team culture and ensuring the players enjoy their participation whilst striving for performance.
